The best dashboards for watching JP + US markets together (2026)

If you follow both Japanese and US equities, you know the annoyance: most tools are built for one market. You end up with a US dashboard in one tab, a Japanese one in another, and no single place to compare where money is actually rotating across both. Here's an honest look at the options in 2026.

What a cross-market dashboard needs to do

  • Both markets in one frame — JP and US sectors, movers and indicators without tab-switching.
  • Rotation, not just prices — sector heatmaps and volume surges tell you what's getting attention, which price alone hides.
  • Fast, glanceable — you want the state of the market in ten seconds, not a spreadsheet to assemble.

TradingView

The default for a reason: deep charting, huge symbol coverage, screeners, alerts. You can build multi-market watchlists. The trade-off is that it's a charting platform first — assembling a clean "JP + US sector rotation at a glance" view is your job, and the free tier is capped. Great if you live in charts.

Finviz

Excellent, fast US screener and sector maps. The heatmap is iconic and free. The catch for this use case: it's US-centric — Japanese coverage isn't its strength. Perfect as your US half, not a cross-market answer on its own.

Yahoo Finance / Google Finance

Free, familiar, fine for quotes and building watchlists across markets. But they're quote pages, not rotation dashboards — no sector heatmap, no "what surged on volume today" ranking. Good baseline, thin on the analytical layer.

  • You mostly trade US and love charts: TradingView + Finviz, done.
  • You watch JP and US and want rotation at a glance: Sector Pulse for the cross-market picture, a charting tool when you want to zoom in.
  • You just want quotes: Yahoo/Google Finance is free and fine.

The honest summary: no single tool wins every axis. If your specific pain is "I can't see JP and US sector rotation in one place," that's the narrow problem worth solving — most people are stitching two dashboards together and calling it a workflow.
